Middle of the Night Fun

So, I am sitting here, waiting for Mo to come home from editing his VO for his sports segment tomorrow, and I ran across this video, I laughed so hard. Of course, that might be because I don't get enough sleep as it is, and i am reaaaaaaaaaly tired.

Death Clock

During this past winter semester, I took a Death and Dying class which helped me appreciate life a little bit more. One of our assignments was to find a song, video clip, or something that had to do with death. One girl did a search on the internet and found the death clock that calculates your date of death and how many seconds you have left to live. I forgot all about it until this morning, and decided to calculate my date of death. Mine is Friday, April 23, 2060. Find out what yours is here.

Funny Father's Day

I think our family is a little bit funny. I like everything brown, like cake, frosting, and ice cream, while Mo reaches for everything vanilla. I asked Mo if I could compromise the Father's Day cake, and he laughed at me...

We were invited to a pot luck barbecue for Father's Day that started at three, Mo got home at two, and we decided to nap for 45 minutes that turned into FOUR HOURS!!! It was a really nice nap, but we felt SO bad for missing the BBQ. (Besides, Zuki slept the whole time with us, which was nice for me...)

Look What I Can Do!

I'ts hard to see what I did to her hair with these pictures, but I took little chunks and twisted them. We used to do it with Mo's hair before he shaved his head for the summer. I miss his hair. But now I get to play with my daughters hair, and do what I want with it, and she can't complain yet.

Vaccines

So, I took Zuki to get her first round of immunizations yesterday, and I am so glad that Mo was able to go with me because I was not prepared for how much it would affect me. They had two nurses do it, one on each leg, and the needles were at least three inches long!! Zuki started screaming, and I had never heard her like that before...I lost it. I had to back away and put my face in the corner. When they handed her to me, it took a minute to calm her down, then she fell asleep...she slept all day, barely allowing me to wake her up to feed her. She didn't like being put down, either. Oh, it was so heart breaking. I didn't know my mother love strings were so strong.

Four Generations

This is the introduction of Zuki to her Great-Grandpa George. I am so glad that he got to meet her and see how beautiful she is.

The Grandma's giving the baby a bathy.

Grandpa was such a good sport when we wanted pictures of him holding Zuki, when he was done, he said, "Take the baby!" He is such a special person in our lives.

Mo and I took a trip to Twin Falls where my mom's parents live. It is always good to see them, and as my mom was there also, it was a good opportunity to get a four generation picture. Mo took the pictures for us, Zuki is crying in all of mine, but on my mom's camera she was sleeping...never could get her to smile. There was way too much lovin' goin' on for my sweet Zuki.
