Just some cutes

Babysitting my friends baby, Tom.

So exhausted. I was doing my makeup at the mirror with my back to her, and all of a sudden she wasn't making noise, and I turned around, and this is what I saw!

Lookin' good in the hood.

This is her first time eating peas. She just kind of sat there with them on her tongue, mouth wide open for a few seconds before swallowing every bite. And then...

She gagged. Mo and I were laughing so hard the whole time this was going on. She never threw up, but kept making gagging noises. So funny. she kept eating though. Little trouper.

First Christmas

So, I know that this picture is fuzzy, but I have decided that poor eyesight makes for a prettier Christmas tree. Don't you think?

I wish I had a close up of Zuki's ornament. It's a Stork carrying a baby bundle. SOOOO cute.

Baby Work Out

So...This is how Zuki gets around. She pushes up on her hands and feet, bends her knees under her, then pushes out again, and lauches herself forward into a faceplant, and starts all over. I don't think she is quite getting the "move your hands" part. I hope she figures out this whole crawling this before we go to California for Christmas. My parents have hard wood floors. Eeeeek!

Thanksgiving!!!

Soooooo, for thanksgiving, we ended up staying in Rexburg due to lack of funds for gas. We wanted to do a Potluck dinner with some of the African families, but it turns out, they were all invited to go somewhere. Our ward decided to do a potluck, so we went to that instead. I made the turkey, a jello, and some Neat Wheat Brownies (Num, YUMMY!). The turkey turned out better than the one I made last year....so juicy.

Zuki had mashed up chicken noodles and carrots, and promptly zonked out. (can you see her orange face?

This must be the reason why she zonked out. What a handsome man...who would have known she would find her prince?

This is the group that ended up coming to the potluck.

There are so many things to be grateful for. If there was one thing I had to choose, I would raise my glass high and say, "thank you for life" because "life" is everything rolled into a huge ball of goodness, kindness, heartache, challenges, and most of all love. I am thankful for it all.
