We had just picked zuki up from my friends house. We had gone to see Hancock. (Great movie by the way, but it had some language in it). Isn't it weird how much you want to get away from your kid for a few hours, but when you do, you feel like a piece of you is missing? I just wanted to hold her. Has any one else had this experience?

Mo thinks she looks like Hancock in his sun glasses. She held really still the whole time they were on her face. She didn't wiggle or make noise or even move her head. I have never seen a baby do that before.

Thank You!

Thanks to all the mothers who gave me advice for tummy time! I am so glad I am not alone in the mothering/trying to learn world! I eventually tried putting her on a familiar blanket on the couch, (don't worry, I was right there the whole time!). She likes to see things, so I thought if I put her higher, she might be okay. She does this for ten minutes at a time. YAY!

Our Fourth

For this fourth of July, we decided to expand our group. Usually, we only go with one other couple, but this time there were five couples, and one single girl. It was so much fun. The boys barbequed for us, and we just relaxed the whole day.

Mo Designed this shirt for Zuki. Totally cute.
So, How cute is this? I don't think either one of them had seen a baby of a different color. They stared at each other for a long time. He started trying to grab her after a while. SO CUTE.

Tummy Time Woes

How cute are these!!!??? She's in her boppy pillow...she doesn't like tummy time; she always starts crying so hard after a few seconds that her legs and arms go up, and she face plants into the blanket on the floor, so I tried putting her in the pillow, but she just slides down before she gets any good exercise. Mommies out there, do you have any advice for tummy time??
