TAG!

Yesterday was my sweet hubby's birthday, so today I will respond to Anna's tag. Mo and I first met in Rexburg, January of 2006. His friend, Eric, brought him into Tomassito's (a pizzaria on campus where I worked) to set him up with one of my co-workers. Basically, Mo thought I was cuter, and started to come in for pizza every couple of weeks. He thought I had a boyfriend (which I didn't) so didn't ask me out until April. We got married that December.

Our first kiss was in his car on our second date. He was showing me pictures on his camera, so we were leaning in, and he couldn't handle my "magnetism".

Mo said "I love you" first after he kissed me on our second date. I told him I couldn't say it back, yet...but did about two days later. It was in the beginning of May. I also told him that I was done with the dating game (after my last boyfriend...) and I was in it to get married if he was willing. He stuck around and eventually told me he had "known" since the first time we met.

We have been married for almost two years (Dec. 22).

His nickname for me is "Sweetie" or "natty" or "poo-coo". The third is my favorite. My favorite physical feature of his is, lets be honest, his bum. I hope our girls get his bum. I wish I had his bum. It's a nice bum.

What he does that surprises me is how willing he is to change poopies when I have had it for the day. He always changes the morning poopies for me, and the before bedtime bath poopies! (I have a very regular daughter).

His greatest quality is how unconfrontational he is. When I get mad, he calmly reminds me that I don't need to be mad. Sometimes, I really want to be, though.

Mo's favorite food is sheep. Sheep head, eyes, brains and all, man. No, I have not had it, and NO, I will NOT cook it for him!Mo's favorite past time is playing soccer. Outside when the weather is nice, and on the gamecube when it's not. He's good, like AFRICA good.

Mo is my sweetheart.

Now I tag Lindsey.

Sunshine and a Sob Session

My daughter is such a joy to me. No matter what is going on in life, she is just happy. Even when she is hungry or tired, I can distract her long enough from her fussing to be rewarded with a wide toothless grin. I think I know now what Heavenly Father means for us to be "childlike". Happy. Just Happy. What a blessing to have an example staring me in the face each and every day. (She even follows the Word of Wisdom and gets up early!) I feel like my heart cannot contain the love and joy that I have for her. I will do anything for her. (Anything that is GOOD for her, mind you). I have noticed that since having a baby, and loving her more and more everyday, I find that I am far more sensitive to things around me. Especially commercials on TV. Sometimes I have to change the channel, and if I feel like I need a good Sob Session, all I have to do is watch "A Baby Story" on TLC. If you feel like sharing, what do you do when you feel like you need a Sob Session? (Sob Sessions are good for a woman's psyche, especially when they are suffering from "mom-nesia" so don't feel stupid).

Finally Halloween!

We were Hershey's Kisses for Halloween. We went to a ward dance where we won the "Most Creative" prize, which was a pair of glow in the dark spectacles. This was my mom's idea. Thanks Mom!! We had a good time, and only spent money on the party hats!

Pre-lims for Halloween

Rapunzel?

Or African Princess?

We had a hard time deciding what we wanted to do for Halloween. Mo had his costume all picked out, and we were working on choosing something for Zuki, but I just wasn't feeling the spirit of Halloween for some reason. Anyway, my mom came up with an awesome idea that we ended up doing, (which I will blog about in a few days), but these are "idea" pictures.

Look what DADDY Did!

Isn't he the best babysitter EVER!? He is lucky that she doesn't mind things on her head. What a cutie. What are some funny things that your hubbys did while they were babysitting?

First time in the BIG BATH

We have been bathing Zuki in her infant bathtub for a long time. Last week she started twisting around so she could sit in a way that she could splash around, and it made it hard to wash her, so we do baths in the big tub now. She is loving every minute of it, splashing and trying to slide all over the place. She has face planted a couple of times, it scared me to death, but we keep a hold on her the whole time, and she cries when bathtime is over. I am finding that 10 to 15 minute baths makes her very tired, and she goes down easier and is staying asleep longer...hopefully soon she will be sleeping through the night...still waiting.

Holy Cow, It's OCTOBER!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up! Life has been moving fast (but very slowly) for us. I feel like my days are running together, it's always sunday for me. Yesterday was Stake Conference, and I totally didn't know about it. (I am always in the Mother's Room at the beginning of Relief Society, and I never know what it going on). Church usually starts at 1:30 and my friend called me at 9:30 to see if wanted to sit by her and her husband for conference. What?! needless to say, I had Zuki and I ready in 30 minutes and in a seat halfway through the opening hymn! I am lucky our church is right across the street!!! These pictures were about a month ago...I am not sure where the recent ones are. They might be on Mo's hard drive. I will post more when I find the recent ones! Thanks for being patient with me, especially Anna and my mom and Dwynne. They've been bugging me to get going again!
